UCSC Students Going Wireless

Forget tripping over cords or fumbling with wires when you use your laptop around campus: UCSC is going wireless. Following trial runs, 130 wireless access points are now in place throughout campus, mainly in common areas such as dining halls, lounges, and libraries. Some residence halls also have wireless service.

Areas with wireless access points are marked with signs. The new service is called CruzNet.
