There are ways for alumni, students, parents, retired staff and faculty, and friends to get involved with outreach, program fundraising, and a variety of activities. You may choose to mentor students, raise money for scholarships, organize events, give career advice, and much more.

Alumni can stay involved and support the campus by joining the Alumni Association.

Students can join Slug-to-Slug, a group committed to building an across campus community and a lifelong bridge to UCSC.

Parents can join the Parent Council, which develops programs and services that build community among parents of UCSC undergraduate students.

UCSC Career Network: nearly 100,000 alumni, faculty, staff, and students are part of your career network with the UCSC Online Community–become a mentor, hire a graduate, find interns, and much more!

Friends Groups at UC Santa Cruz are a wonderful way to engage with others who share a common interest. There are Friends Groups dedicated to preserving campus history, engaging in lifelong learning, and supporting the arts, among many others.

Alumni Interest Groups are formed by alumni who wish to connect with others based on common interests. See the list of interest groups.

Community leaders can explore leadership opportunities with the UC Santa Cruz Foundation, UCSC Alumni Association, Admissions Outreach, the Career Advice Network, or the UCSC Affiliates.
