Where innovation is a tradition. The
motto of the Santa Cruz campus of the University of
California aptly characterizes a robust environment
for world-class research, science and technology in
a variety of academic
and research programs. This site is designed to
highlight the research strengths and development of
new technologies by UC Santa Cruz researchers and
the potential for collaboration with the research
interests and technology deployment activities of
industry.

for the campus is supported by William
F. Clark, the Director of UCSC's Office of
Sponsored Projects and the Campus Liaison to the
UC Office of Technology Transfer.
- At UC Santa Cruz, the faculty's principal
research advocate is Acting Vice Chancellor for
Research
Burney Le Boeuf.
- The University of California Office
of Technology Transfer (OTT) oversees UC
systemwide efforts to encourage the utilization
of the results of University research for the
public benefit. OTT assists members of the
faculty and staff in patenting and licensing
inventions and in working with industry in
support of the University's education, research,
and public service mission.

Investigator's Statement of Economic Interests
(Form 730-U). To be completed for all
research projects which have been or will be
funded in whole or in part: (1) through a
contract or grant of $250 or more with a
non-governmental entity; or (2) by a gift from a
non-governmental entity which is earmarked by
the donor for a specific research project or a
specific principal investigator, provided the
amount of the gift, or the aggregate over a 12
month period, from the same donor is $250 or
more.
