Employees required to complete 'ethics briefing' by June 15

During the week of May 7, many UCSC Academic & Staff employees were scheduled to receive an email from ethics@ucsc.edu reminding them to complete a 30 minute on-line Ethics Briefing.

The purpose of this briefing is to familiarize all UC employees with the Statement of Ethical Values and Standards of Ethical Conduct, which the Regents adopted in May 2005. The briefing is mandated by the UC Office of the President, and UCSC employees are required to complete the on-line briefing by June 15, 2007. Employees without Internet access will be able to attend a classroom version of the Briefing delivered at a later date.
