Re: Register to vote

I am writing you to urge you to register to vote, if you have not already done so, and exercise your right to vote on March 7.

If you are not registered to vote, or have moved since you last registered, you have until Monday, February 7 to register. A copy of the Voter Registration Form can be obtained online or by stopping at any of the following campus sites: the McHenry Library foyer, the Chancellor's Officereception area, any college office, the Carriage House lobby, or the County Election Office in the County Government Center at 701 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz.

With a presidential election, 20 statewide ballot initiatives, and many local and statewide races, it is important that we all become informed and participate. A helpful online resource that you may want to utilize is the nonpartisan analysis of each statewide ballot initiative, available on the Secretary of State's Web site .

If you are already registered, please remember to go to the polls and vote on March 7. Thank you.
