Re: Spring break coverage

This memo is a reminder that Counseling & Psychological Services will not have regularly scheduled hours from 5:00 PM , Friday, March 17 through 8:00 AM, Monday, March 27. Administrative staff will be available to assist you with referrals for off campus services during that time. Counseling & Psychological Services will be closed for the Administrative Holiday on Friday, March 24.

The Residential Crisis Program will be available 24 hours a day from Saturday March 25 through Sunday, March 26. They are available for residential students and can be accessed through the normal channels.

If you are experiencing psychological distress you may call Suicide Prevention Services at 458-5300 or 1-877-663-5433. You may also call Santa Cruz County Mental Health Services for hospitalization screening at 462-7644. For violent or life-threatening behavior or events, major crime or death, please call 911.

During Spring Break week the Health Center will be open for urgent care only, from Monday, March 20, through Thursday, March 23. Hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Limited laboratory services will be available, but no X-ray will be available during that time. The Health Center will be closed on Friday, March 24 for the Administrative Holiday, and will reopen for the Spring Quarter on Monday, March 27.
