Re: CruzPay Implementation and June 20th Demonstration

The Enterprise Time and Attendance System, known as CruzPay on the UCSC campus, will be rolled out to the first phase of users this summer. This email is sent to inform you about a change to our go-live date, invite you to our first presentation and demonstration, and provide additional information on the CruzPay system.

To accommodate extensive system testing, we are delaying the production implementation by one month from July to August 2006. Our web site, http://cruzpay.ucsc.edu, has been established, and we encourage you to visit it for additional information. Of particular interest, the initial population of staff employees we expect to use CruzPay is available on this web site. Additional analysis during system testing may necessitate adjustments to this population, and we will keep the list updated as changes occur.

The project team working on this system implementation is dedicated to making the CruzPay experience positive. In conjunction with the Staff Human Resources Service Teams, we are committed to helping each and every user successfully interact with CruzPay.

To begin this partnership with the campus, we will be holding a series of presentations and demonstrations of CruzPay. Details about these demos can be found at: http://cruzpay.ucsc.edu.

We would like to highlight our first demonstration that is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20th 1 - 2 p.m. in the Performing Arts Media Theater. We encourage you to attend and learn more about this tool that will help employees easily record and view time and attendance data. Please note that attendance is optional. Training for employees will be accomplished through demonstrations of the system and simple written instructions.
