Re: Campus Hiring Freeze

I am pleased to announce that the campuswide hiring freeze that went into effect in November 2001 is lifted, effective today.

Exceptions to the hiring freeze policy will no longer be required as part of the employment process. Principal Officers and those with delegated approval authority for staff recruitments are asked to inform their unit managers and supervisors of this decision. Principal Officers retain the authority to determine the appropriate approval process for all staff recruitments within their respective divisions.
