Re: Passing of Anna Toledo
It is with sadness that I write to inform you of the death of Anna Toledo, a senior custodial supervisor with Physical Plant. Anna died unexpectedly at her home this past Saturday at the age of 57.
Her career on campus began in 1989, when she was hired as a senior custodian. Anna was promoted to supervisor in 2000 and to senior supervisor in 2001. She was well known on campus for having great working relationships with colleagues and clients, and for her keen sense of humor.
Anna will be buried in her hometown of Twin Falls, Idaho, but a memorial service will also be held locally at Oakwood Memorial Chapel, Santa Cruz, sometime during the week of February 16. If you are interested in attending the service or wish to send flowers, please call Physical Plant at ext. 9-2163.
Please join me in expressing condolences to Anna's family--including two daughters, a son, a stepson, and four grandchildren--and to her many friends.
