Re: Kevin Browne Appointed Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions and University Registrar

After a lengthy search for an Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions and University Registrar, I am pleased to announce that Kevin Browne will be joining UC Santa Cruz on October 1st, 2001. I am confident that his experience and knowledge will play an important role in fulfilling the Student Affairs vision for the future.

Kevin's experiences include both national and international enrollment management and teaching appointments. Kevin joins us from the Fielding Graduate Institute in Southern California where he served as the Director of Enrollment and Student Services. His prior experience includes University Outreach in Japan, England, Kuwait, Turkey and many other countries, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Services at The American University in Cairo, and University Registrar and Director of Admissions and University Outreach, at California State University, Los Angeles. In addition to this wealth of experience, Kevin has held teaching appointments at the American University in Cairo and Purdue University.
