Brogan, Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor, Academic Human Resources and Willeen McQuitta, Director, Staff Human Resources Re: California Whistleblower Protection ActUCSC FACULTY AND STAFF Re: California Whistleblower Protection Act New provisions of the California Whistleblower Protection Act (Government Code Sections 8548.2 and 8548.3) require the University to post notices regarding the Act and to provide all employees who have UC authorized access to e-mail with a copy of the notice. The notice, which may be found at http://www2.ucsc.edu/hr/, includes information on what to report, where to report, how to report, a statement on protection from retaliation for whistleblowing, and a statement from the State Auditor’s Office regarding the activities of that agency. The UCSC campus Procedures for Reporting Improper Governmental Activities and Protection Against Retaliation for Reporting Improper Activities can be found on the web at http://www2.ucsc.edu/staff_hr/.
