Whether you are a beginning, intermediate, or advanced student, come to our hands-on workshop focusing on pottery wheel technique. Emphasis is on proper clay preparation, centering and throwing methods for achieving various forms. Please bring any pottery tools you may have (sponge, dissecting needle, chamois cloth & a hairdryer) to class. Class size is limited to 5 students. Instructor George Dymesich graduated from UCSC with a double major in Art & Ceramics (honors). He teaches pottery workshops for the S.C. Adult School, gives private lessons and organizes & leads small groups of students to Japan to study ceramics.
