April 23, 2007 Arts Dean finalists to make presentationsBy Guy Lasnier, (831) 459-5312, lasnier@ucsc.eduThree final candidates for the Dean of the Arts position are scheduled to make presentations in April and May on campus and the campus community is invited to attend. Each candidate will speak to his or her vision and goals of the deanship and will deliver a scholarly presentation on his or her research interests. The final candidates are Professor William Seaman, Rhode Island School of Design; Professor Simon Penny, UC Irvine; and Professor Timothy Murray, Cornell University. The candidates’ CVs and web links are posted for review at: http://www2.ucsc.edu/ahr/OpenPresentations.pdf. All presentations will take place in Engineering 2, Room 499. Light refreshments will be served.
