Arts Dean finalists to make presentations

Three final candidates for the Dean of the Arts position are scheduled to make presentations in April and May on campus and the campus community is invited to attend.

Each candidate will speak to his or her vision and goals of the deanship and will deliver a scholarly presentation on his or her research interests.

The final candidates are Professor William Seaman, Rhode Island School of Design; Professor Simon Penny, UC Irvine; and Professor Timothy Murray, Cornell University.

All presentations will take place in Engineering 2, Room 499. Light refreshments will be served.

The third finalist, Professor Timothy Murray, Cornell University, is scheduled to visit campus in early May. An announcement will be published when the dates have been set.
