UC Santa Cruzís official typefaces for print communications are
- Adobe Garamond (used primarily for text)
- Franklin Gothic Condensed, Extra Condensed, and No.2 (used primarily for headlines)
- ITC Franklin Gothic Condensed family (used primarily for headlines, charts and graphs, caption text, and, in the lighter weights, as a general-use sans-serif text face)
- Ultra Condensed Sans Serif (aka Empire; used for logotype and section headings)
