Overview
The goal of these guidelines is to foster development of a strong visual identity that supports the academic and public service mission of the University of California, Santa Cruz, through consistent presentation of the campus in its print and online communications. To forward this goal, this web site:
- recommends ways that the campus's existing identity elements (logotype and seal) can be applied more broadly and consistently to print and online communications campuswide
- describes and recommends use of photography that portrays the intensity of working groups, the advantages of the campus's unique environment for inquiry and inspiration, and the engaged interaction of students with faculty, staff, and others integral to their education
- provides tools to campus units for implementing these guidelines
