| Senior Aaron van de Kerckhove manipulates his massive stainless steel sculpture,
the top part of which spins. The untitled piece was one of hundreds of works on display
by UCSC art students during Open Studios--the quarterly exhibit of student work at
Baskin Visual Arts. The works of van de Kerckhove and three other UCSC art students, Kam Gad, Stephen Patch, and Jesse Pemberton, are on display in downtown Santa Cruz in the Felix Kulpa Gallery, 107 Elm St. (behind Streetlight Records) through December 18. A closing reception takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. on the 18th. For more information, call (831) 475-3471. Photo: Barbara McKenna To the Currents home page |
