University and city officials dedicate downtown building
Representatives from the city of Santa Cruz and UCSC came together on Monday, November
1, to dedicate the University Town Center. The new five-story 86,000 square foot
building is located in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz on the site of the former
Ford's Department Store, which was destroyed in the Loma Prieta earthquake ten years
