March 19, 2001 Core West parking structure opened Monday, March 19 Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) opened the new Core West Parking Structure on Monday, March 19, for use by A, B, and MC permit holders. The Core West structure provides parking for 474 cars (including 12 spaces designated for handicapped parking), 18 motorcycles, and more than 20 bicycles. Motor vehicles should access the Core West structure from Heller Drive, just south of the intersection with McLaughlin Drive.
