This week we're launching a fun new feature to "take the pulse" of the
campus community: Weigh in and Win!
Tell us what you think: Each week, we'll post a question about a topic that's
been in the news, is of general interest, or has just been on our minds! You'll have
a chance to "weigh in" with a simple "yes," "no," or
"unsure," or you may elaborate if you like. The following week, a tally
of responses will be listed, along with a sampling of the narrative opinions. (Narratives
will appear without author names.)
Win a nifty Currents Online coffee mug: Each week, the names of five respondents
will be drawn at random to win a mug. Participants must be UCSC staff, faculty, or
students. Please submit your name and campus e-mail address on the response form.
Only one mug per person, please. Winners' names will be listed the following week.
