	The Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems is a research, education, and public service program at the University of California, Santa Cruz, dedicated to increasing ecological sustainability and social justice in the food and agriculture system. On the UCSC campus, the Center operates the 2-acre Alan Chadwick Garden and the 25-acre Farm. Both sites are managed using organic production methods and serve as research, teaching, and training facilities for students, staff, and faculty. Fall Harvest Festival and Food for Thought Forum
Saturday, October 4, 11 am - 5 pm
UCSC Farm, UC Santa Cruz
Join us for our biggest campus and community outreach event of the year. Enjoy live music, great food, talks, workshops, kids' activities, and much more at this celebration of the harvest. The "Food for Thought" forum starts at 12:30 at the festival.

$5 general admission; free for kids 12 and under, and members of the Friends of the Farm & Garden. UCSC students: $3 or free with coupon from Campus Food Guide (plus UCSC ID). More details here.
