Archive of Budget-Related Messages from UCSC's Administration 2004 In a message to the campus community (January 30), Chancellor Greenwood and Campus Provost Chemers provide an updated calendar for making budget decisions. In a letter to the campus community (January 9), Campus Provost Chemers provides early information on the 2004-05 budget proposed today by Governor Schwarzenegger. 2003 In a letter to deans, vice chancellors, and the university librarian (December 19), Campus Provost Chemers describes mid-year steps Governor Schwarzenegger and the legislature have taken to address the state's shortfall. In a letter to UCSC staff (December 1), Staff Advisory Board chair Rachel Huff promotes the next in a series of forums detailing progress on campus "transformation" projects. In a letter to supervisors of IT staff (August 15), Vice Provost Merkley invites those staff to a meeting launching the IT consolidation project. In a letter to the UCSC community (July 30), Chancellor Greenwood describes the adopted state budget. In a letter to the UCSC community (July 28), the Executive Budget Committee provides an update on campus budget planning.
