Refunds/Exchanges: ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. Refunds are given only in the case of event cancellation. Due to the nature of the performing arts, programs are subject to change without notice. No refunds are given for duplicated web orders or for differences in full price tickets versus discounted priced tickets. Most performances have discounts for students, seniors, etc. If you feel you are eligible for a discount (senior, student, UCSC staff/faculty, etc.), please indicate at the time of your order. Exchanges for Arts & Lectures events are only available to Arts and Lectures members at the $50 and above level. Exchanges for Shakespeare Santa Cruz are free for SSC donors and subscribers, and $3.50 per exchange for non-donors and subscribers.
Ticket Donations: If you are unable to use your ticket, consider making a donation to the producing program by returning your ticket(s) to the Ticket Office before the start of the performance, thus allowing someone else to have a seat. When applicable, your donation will be acknowledged in writing as a tax deductible donation.
Wheelchair accessibility: All venues are wheelchair accessible. For accommodation, please request wheelchair seating at time of ticket purchase. Please note, mobility impaired/wheelchair seating is not available for purchase online. Please call the UCSC Ticket Office at 831-459-2159, Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or the Civic Auditorium Box Office at 831-420-5260 for assistance.
Assisted Listening Devices for the hearing-impaired are available for performances at the UCSC Theater Arts Mainstage, Stanley-Sinsheimer Festival Glen, Second Stage, Experimental Theater and Recital Hall. Please check with the house manager at least 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Large-Print Programs are available if requested two working days in advance of the program. Request for these services must be through the Ticket Office at (831) 459-2159 (voice or TDD).
Children: Most UCSC performances and events are not suitable for pre-school aged children, however, regardless of age, each child (infants included) must have a ticket and sit in a seat.
Parking: For events on the UCSC campus, please arrive at least 45 minutes in advance to allow time for parking, ticketing, and seating. Parking for Mainstage, Recital Hall, Second Stage and the Stanley-Sinsheimer Glen events is located off Heller Drive (WEST campus entrance) in the Performing Arts lot on Meyer Drive. Parking in this lot is by permit or meter only; lots are enforced until 8:30 PM. For most campus events, parking is facilitated by the campus Transportation and Parking Services attendants and a parking fee of $2 is collected at the Performing Arts parking lot. There are also two permit kiosks in the lot; patrons with a UCSC A/B parking permit or disabled placard are not required to purchase additional permits. Please display all permits so they may be visible to Parking Enforcement. For more information on UCSC parking permits, please visit the Transportation & Parking Services website.
Late Seating: We endeavor to start all performances on time. Latecomers may not be seated until intermission or a suitable interval in the program, as designated by the artist or at the discretion of the Front-of-House Staff. Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start time of the performance so you have sufficient time to park, purchase tickets and be seated.
Be Respectful of Fellow Patrons: In consideration of the artists and fellow audience members, there is no photography or audio/video recording allowed during performances. Please make sure you turn off all phones, pagers and watches.
Student & Senior Discounts: Students and Seniors 62 and over generally receive discounts to performances, however it is dependent on the event. Please indicate whether you are a student or senior when purchasing your tickets. All student ticket holders must present valid student ID at the door.
