UCSC Advising Day

February 12, 2002

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

ALL STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE THIRD ANNUAL UCSC ADVISING DAY

Advising Day was instituted to assist UCSC students in gathering information and making choices about their course studies.

UCSC invites all of its students to participate in this daylong program of advising fairs, workshops, presentations and drop-in sessions.

Both declared and undeclared students will benefit from the scheduled activities.

1. Advising Day coincides with the pre-enrollment period for Spring Quarter; receiving curricular advice at this time will help all students to plan for both Spring and Fall Quarter courses.
   
   
2. Students who have declared their majors will have the opportunity to learn about courses, internships and professional opportunities in their fields.
   
   
3. Undeclared students will be able to review their progress, investigate possible majors, attend the Career Center’s "workshop for undeclared students" and begin the process of declaring a major.

We hope you’ll join us for the third annual Advising Day on

February 12, 2002.
