The campus's recreation and sports facilities include a 50-meter pool, located at the East Field House along with a half-mile jogging track, dance studio, a martial arts room, handball/racquetball courts, and a new fitness center. UCSC's NCAA Division III teams compete in men's and women's swimming, diving, and water polo, as well as basketball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball.
